This functional principle of nature describes the key to IONIC HYDROBOOST VAP to optimize your polyester textile. With the new developed IONIC SEQUOIA TECHNOLOGY in order to optimally absorb moisture, intelligently pass it on and optimally release it with high evaporation capacity.

There are two decisive levers for optimizing. The optimal wetting and formation of capillary pressure with IONIC HYDORBOOST VAP as the optimal capillary effect in the textile through the smallest possible capillaries. In terms of yarn technology, not all possibilities have yet been exhausted at this point and heights of climbing of 2.4 meters currently mark the point of state of the art.

IONIC HYDROBOOST VAP creates a surface of negative and positive charged areas in the polyester capillaries. The waterflow towards the the top is accelaerated with more cappilary pressure because IONIC HYDROBOOST VAP causes a charge interaction between bipolar water and the bipolar charged capillary.

Moisture transportation (capillary rise test)

IONIC HYDROBOOST®VAP confers high rewettability to textiles and thus durable moisture absorption, transportation and Evaporation One does not perspire less, but it is less uncomfortable.

IONIC HYDROBOOST®VAP creates wash-durable hydrophilic properties. PES sports and active wear maintain their hydrophilic properties for several wash cycles and thus produce op- timum body-moisture management. The symbiosis of advanced soil-release effects and durable hydrophilic properties results in clean and permanently functional textiles.

Advanced Soil-Release-Effects

Due to its hydrophobic and lipophil properties, po- lyester has weaknesses in use. A functional finish with IONIC HYDROBOOST®VAP offsets these disadvantages.

The finish with IONIC HYDROBOOST®VAP confers a functional protective layer to polyester surfaces. Soil adheres less and is easier removed by washing. Textiles fi- nished in this manner have soil-release properties, which makes their everyday care much easier.
